 Last week the Sun reported some exiting news for all those IT workers out there. IT workers actually make the best lovers. The study taken anonymously in the UK of 2000 men and women found 82% of IT workers consider their partner’s needs above their own so are the most selfless lovers.

Unlike the bustier, a corset is deigned to not only push up the bust but to hold in and shape the waist which is achieved by laces up either the front or back. Corsets will always come down to an area just below the waistline so it can achieve this purpose, though not all are actually designed to be tightened and are merely for show.

Corsets are typically strapless in design and are often worn visible with other clothing to achieve the look of a top; such as with a pair of jeans, trousers or a skirt. As lingerie many corsets come with suspenders attached for stockings

Basques

Though traditionally corsets and basques were very different, in the modern take on these garments they are very similar. The man difference is that basques are not used to shape the waist by puling it in, and are more delicate as the support is not as needed; for this reason basques are normally worn for comfort rather than body shaping. Basques also tend to extend lower than a corset down to the hips, thought hey can be a little shorter. Like corsets they are normally strapless to accentuate the bosom and they also often incorporate suspenders for stockings.

So a quick summary, all of these push up and accentuate the bust, though bustiers are shorter and frame the upper torso, corsets are longer and are used to hold in the midsection and accentuate the hips and basques are similar to corsets but are not used to hold in the body and are normally a little longer.

Stocking are pretty firmly embedded into popular culture as a symbol of sexiness, raunchiness and daring.

We’d all probably consider most ladies who slip on a pair of stockings, whether they are sexy fishnet stockings complete with suspender belt, or a normal set of nylon hold up stockings, to be a little more naughty minded; after all few people put stockings on to keep their legs warm as typically tights (or pantyhose if your from the States) are more sensible and practical.
